Instead, it’s a new year, and this will be a great tailgate. This is supposed to be a happy occasion. Let’s not bicker over who killed who.

And the people shall feast upon the lambs and sloths, and carp and anchovies, and orangutans and breakfast cereals, and fruit bats… but more likely your normal tailgate fare. Donuts and coffee for the breakfast lovers, burgers dogs and the like for closer to the game.

We’ll let you have a little peril. It’s not unhealthy. Will see you bright and early at 7am (or as close as possible).

Looks like we’ll have a Panther cage fight.  Wonder if Michael Vick wants in on the action…

Since FIU is located in South Florida, we’ll have Cuban sandwiches as well as an encore presentation of the Category 5 Hurricanes since, well, a plastic fold-down seat makes a great place for a late afternoon nap.

After the early bye week we’re heading into our first weekday tailgate of the year *groan*.  The TV whores win out again, but we’ll try to make the best of it.

Also due to our lot being used by a business during the day access to the lot will be later than normal.

Eats this week will be subs/hoagies, chips, and pretzels.

We’ll have beer on hand, as well as Category 5 Hurricanes for those so inclined.  For your safety and the safety of others, just stay away from open flames after consumption.

Also this is officially a “TURN IT BLUE” event.  Hopefully it won’t mean a code blue for our season.
